This was always my go to breakfast as a kid. This is my mama's easy recipe for making a basic cheeese omelet.

Melt about a tablespoon of margarine in your frying pan. You want to have your frying pan heated well. Make sure once the butter is melted to turn down your heat to low.
Break your eggs into a bowl and add a dash of garlic powder. Be sure not to add to much, a little garlic powder goes a long way.
Whisk your eggs thoroughly. Beat them very quickly in a circular motion. The quicker the better. Once they have little bubbles in them they are ready to cook.
Pour your eggs into the frying pan and whisk them around for a min with the spatula. Just enough to make sure that the butter is mixed thought your eggs. Keep the heat on low and cover.
Open your cheese and have it ready.
Once your egg looks about like this it is time to flip it.
Close the omelet by folding it in half and break the other slice of cheese in half and place it on top.
Recover it with the lid and turn off the stove. Leave it covered until the cheese has melted.
Place on a plate and enjoy!
